Multi-hazard Early Warning Center (MHEWC) provides voluntary & consultancy support to country-level national disaster management organizations (NDMO), the National Meteorological and Hydrological Organization (NMHS), the National Met Agency, Sector Ministries, and the Department for Design, Installation, and Operational of Emergency Operations Center (EOC). Develop a complete set of methodology tools, guidelines, and processes of GIS and ICT tools e.g., GIS & Remote Sensing Maps, GIS survey apps/survey tools/apps, Drone/UAV image capture & analytics, Apps based survey tools, community consultation participatory tools/PRA, LLA, PLA, focus group discussion (FGD), Key informants Interviews (KII), transact Walk, etc., driven comprehensive climate risk assessment (CRVA), Multi-hazard risk assessment, post-disaster damage, loss and needs assessment (PDNA), multi-hazard preparedness, response and recovery planning, sector level and integrated climate change adaptation (CCA) local government planning and budgeting system, CCA, Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), Nature-based Solution (NbS), Locally led adaptation (LLA), etc.

The whole technical team has expertise in IT Database design, Geospatial portal implementation capacity, developing CAP, web programming & implementation, GIS, GPS, and Remote sensing expertise to come up with a standardized and least-cost Multi-hazard early warning system design and implementation.

Provide support in design and implementation of integrated climate and multi-hazard emergency operations centers(EOC), Developing standing orders on disaster(SOD), developing incidence command system (ICS of civil-military ) Climate risk and vulnerability assessment (CRVA), Post-disaster Damage, Loss and Needs Assessment(PDNA), Impact based weather forecasting(IBF), Forecast-based Financing (FBF), ICT tools driven forecast-based early action protocol (EAP) development, ICT tools driven forecast based anticipatory action(AA) design and implementation.
