The Multi-Hazard Early Warning System Design & Implementation Center (MHEWC) at https://www.mhewc.org & Global Climate Services (GLOCS) at https://glocs.org have emerged as one of the world’s leading knowledge platforms dedicated to multi-hazard and climate-risk intelligence management and governance systems, as well as end-to-end early warning systems. The platform is currently attracting over 700,000 visitors monthly from over 160 countries.
To meet this growing demand, minimize service disruptions, and ensure reliable access to its expanding repository of knowledge and technical resources, MHEWC urgently requires US$100,000 to finance three priority investments: migration to high-performance dedicated server infrastructure; development of EWS Decision Support System (DSS) software for the priority sectors; and subscriptions to essential application programming interfaces (APIs) for web-based warning and alerting services. We therefore invite multinational companies, development partners, donors, institutions, and other stakeholders to provide financial support for these critical investments. With this valued support, MHEWC will strengthen its capacity and advance its vision to become a leading global hub for innovative, practical, ICT- and AI-enabled early warning solutions.
